Receiving: August 10 10am – 2pm*
Time period during which works will be in OHG: August 10 – October 9/10
Teardown: October 9 & 10 5 – 7pm*
*If these hours are not possible, alternative arrangements can be made.
This is purely an exhibition: no judging, no awards.
Cultural Affairs reserves the right to refuse works it deems inappropriate.

Subject Matter: sheet music, musical instruments, musicians, performances, interpretations of… Types of artworks and pieces for display: wall, free-standing, for pedestals or glass showcases
Number of Works Allowed: two (2) to four (4) works per artist, depending on size and available space.
Original works only.
While all instruments are welcome, of particular interest and seeking handmade or eclectic/vintage instruments, original scores or sheet music.
A label with the title of the work, artist name, medium, and price should be affixed (but easily hidden) to the back of each piece.
Artworks must be wired and ready to hang; no sawtooth or keyhole hangers.
- Wall – maximum 32″ horizontal by 72″ vertical; [a few larger spaces may be available]
- Weight: no more than 60 pounds
- Sculptures: free-standing or those requiring pedestals – must be a reasonable size [not huge];
Please note: a few pedestals are available; sculptors should plan on providing their own – clean & neutral colored pedestals
- Small or tiny sculptures and Instruments: four (4) lockable display cases are available.
- Sketchbooks open to drawings from live concerts and shows will be considered for display.
Poets: Submit poems only in Microsoft Word document or in body of email. Poems will be formatted and printed for display.
Fee: $5 per artist to be paid at receiving. Credit cards are not accepted. Checks are OK.
(If a sale is made, a donation of any amount should be given to Cultural Affairs)
For the Reception+: Each artist must bring something — hors d’oeuvre, dessert…finger foods…small snacks.
Please–no soups or lasagnas or the like. To avoid duplications, a sign-up sheet will be provided at receiving.
E-mail jpeg image files as attachments – no huge files, no links, no dropboxes, no google docs.
Images should be 300 dpi and approximately 3” x 4” (900 x 1200 pixels).
Please format the following information: artist’s name, e-mail and mailing addresses, title, medium, dimensions, approx. weight, price (or NFS, POR) and put in the body of the e-mail message or in another attachment.
