Dear Friends of the Arts,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for Orange County Arts Council’s Annual Gala, The Art Affair. Our gala will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:00 pm – 8:00pm for our virtual speakeasy! The program begins at 6:00 pm with exclusive performances.
The need to support the arts has never been greater. Due to these challenging times, our organization has faced the removal of government support and diminished resources, however the demand for our services has never been greater. The arts are not only crucial for building our cultural community, but also serve as the livelihood for many of our members. Now, more than ever, your help is needed to provide programs and cultural events such as The Student Arts Showcase, Arts Outreach initiatives, and Community Arts Grants. We are only able to provide these programs with your generosity.
We are honored to announce the 2020 honorees Cooper Boone, singer/songwriter/ clinical child psychologist/televised cook and owner of the award winning lifestyle store Foundry42, located in Port Jervis, NY; David Church, Orange County’s recent planning commissioner for nearly two decades; and E’lissa Jones, prolific musician, singer-songwriter, Warwick Valley High School orchestra director, music educator for nineteen years, and founder of Hudson Valley Ebony Strings. The honorees have been selected for their contribution to the arts and the difference they have made to the cultural life of our community.
Join us in tribute to our honorees and as a sponsor for this year’s gala. Please contact the Orange County Arts Council at 845-202-0140 or return the enclosed form by September 15, 2020 to help us champion the arts in Orange County.
