| FreePlease join us for a ZOOM presentation on Afrofuturism offered by writer, Jo’Van O’Neal. Jo’Van is a Watering Hole Fellow & Hurston Wright Foundation alum & former Newburgher.
In this workshop, participants will use poetry and Afrofuturist video to create pieces that connect the past, present, and future to articulate how they do & could see themselves in time. In sharing these potential realities, they will be encouraged to account the present and how it can inform the future.
