Our first artist is Kyle Vincent Terry.

From Chicago, IL, Kyle VIncent Terry is a multi-disciplined artist.  He received his Master of Fine Arts degree from Brown University/Trinity Rep in 2016 and his Bachelors Degree from the University of Illinois Chicago.  He’s an award-winning actor, most recently working for Starz, HBO Max, Warner Bros/DIscovery. He was recently let go from CBS but they’ll come back… they always do. He’s also worked for Netflix, Showtime, NBC, ABC, and Fox.  From 2004-2011 he toured around the world with Catharsis Productions, seeing 48 states and 10 countries.  His award winning/nominated work includes Trinity Repertory Company, The Huntington Theatre Company, The Goodman Theatre and New York Theatre Workshop. He’s also done public speaking workshops for several organizations including the Notre Dame football team.  He danced for many companies throughout his 20s but those were wild days and he can’t recall them all. He was a founding Member of later Artistic Director of Chicago Dance Crash, creating 7 evening-length works and garnering many accolades and awards.  He later founded the multiple award-nominated theMASSIVE.  He decided to take visual art more seriously, particularly enjoying watercolor painting. He’s shown works recently at the Granite Area Arts Council in Southwest MN and is building work for future shows as well. Most importantly he’s been assisting the Newburgh Arts and Culture Commission in his new early-morning-construction-rich home of Newburgh, NY since he arrived in April of 2023.
