CMA Gallery at Mount Saint Mary College is proud to present The Fix, BECOMING VISIBLE; running currently and exhibiting through September 25th with an opening reception including light fare and drink held on the 14th of July from 6-8pm.

The FIX constitutes a collective of award-winning professional lens-based artists from various disciplines in the Hudson Valley area who have come together meeting regularly to share ideas, discuss new work and explore opportunities. Their work finds its home in both fine art and commercial arenas including still and moving imagery along with fine art disciplines and spans many different photographic media, styles, and techniques.

The experience of the last year has left an ineffable impact on all of us. This exhibition which began well into the pandemic centers itself within response. As image makers who create dialogues’ through the lens of seeing, how does one respond or how does one not respond. Becoming Visible A photographic exhibition about longing and emergence in a time of pandemic; constitutes a portrayal, possible reflection – of opinions, realities and visions experienced by image makers who’s understanding of seeing is laid bare in crisis.
