GNSO’S ASTOUNDING SEASON CLOSES JULY 27

 “SYMFUNNY CIRCUS” – A JAW-DROPPING DUET OF MUSIC AND CIRCUS PERFORMANCE

 

NEWBURGH, NY, May 15, 2024 — The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra (GNSO) closes its 2023/24 season on Saturday, July 27 at 7:30 pm at Aquinas Hall on the Mount Saint Mary College campus in Newburgh. The show promises to captivate audiences of all ages, showcasing astonishing circus performers accompanied by the GNSO, ensuring an experience that will delight both young and old.

Maestro Ger, noted that “Circus performers have long used classical music to illuminate their acts and routines, choreographing their physical artistry to the master composers. The GNSO will collaborate with an extraordinary troupe whose remarkable skills are sure to dazzle and amaze. The show will be directed by Karen Gersch, one of the original founders of NYC’s Big Apple Circus, and a veteran performer in her own right.”

The GNSO is thrilled to invite you to this family-friendly event. It’s a chance to bring your children, grandchildren, or neighborhood friends to a memorable evening! As a bonus, children twelve and under will receive a gift certificate for a free ice cream cone from Stewarts!

Again, “Symfunny Circus” will be presented Saturday, July 27 at 4:00 pm at Mount Saint Mary College’s Aquinas Hall in Newburgh.  Ticket prices are – Balcony $75, Center Reserved $60.
