About: “Her Six Word Story, Often Untold” is a project recognizing and celebrating women’s lives, in their own words. Women—local, national, and international—tell their story in just six words. This event invites you to do the same, or to just listen in the community of a supportive and safe space. Learn more: hersixwordstory.com

A Hudson Valley native, Eileen MacAvery Kane’s work explores our relationships with memories, family, community, spirituality, nature, and the environment through photography, drawing, and film. See more of her work: macavery.com

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
