Orange County Arts Council Offers Subsidized Memberships to Artists

(GOSHEN, NY) Orange County Arts Council is offering subsidized memberships during the next month. Thanks to the generosity and the support of the Orange County Arts Council Board of Directors, those interested will be able to take advantage of a one-year $55 Artist membership for only $10.

Membership in Orange County Arts Council offers artists access to the latest information on funding and grants opportunities, including the latest updates on emergency grants, one half-hour of free legal advice, access to free arts counseling sessions at satellite office hours, listings on OCAC’s website artist directory with online portfolio, invitation to participate in open studios, a ten percent discount for OCAC arts events and programs plus complimentary tickets to select events, informative panels, newsletters with advance notice of events, programs and opportunities, exhibitions, members meetups, networking events and more.

“We’re here to meet the growing needs of our members,” says Sarah McKay, executive director of OCAC. “COVID-19 has really thrown our artists into dealing with unanticipated challenges. So our board chose to create an opportunity for those who would like to join Orange County Arts Council at a deeply discounted rate.”
