Volatile Resolve Refurbish Project
We are requesting quotes for the refurbishment of Volatile Resolve, 10’x6’x14′ tall sculpture located at 17-39 Midland Avenue, Middletown, New York 10940.
It is the contractor’s responsibility to evaluate, review the specifications and to consult with the City and the Artist, Mr. Eric Stein.
The work shall include but not limited to the following: 1. Entire surface sanded and cleaned 2. Exposed rust needs to be cleaned to bare metal and primed prior to painting 3. Total surface Re-painted with specified color 4. Needs Coating. Specify Epoxy or Powder Coating 5. Reasonable length of expected durability 6. Warranty on workmanship and materials to be supplied by contractor 7. Project to be done between April – June 2020-must be completed by end of June 2020.
The paint color must be Sherwin Williams oil base industrial enamel Safety Orange B54 EZ 439 (6401-18691) – COLOR MUST BE APPROVED BY THE ARTIST, MR. STEIN.
Please itemize this portion: Quote the sculpture to be disassembled and reassembled Quote also to include transport.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be necessary on-site with all parties involved March 11, 2020 at 11 am – 17-39 Midland Avenue, Middletown, NY.
Non Collusive certificate must be submitted with proposal.
Certificate of Liability and workers compensation must be provided naming the City of Middletown as an additional insured upon acceptance of the proposal.
